Chino Police Department

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the Chino Police Department, we have several programs to offer. Click on the links below to learn more about each.

The Chino Police Department's Explorer program is for young people between the ages of 14-20 who have an interest in serving their community and perhaps pursuing a career in law enforcement.

The Community Support Team is a program for adults of all ages. These uniformed volunteers represent the Police Department at a variety of public events, provide child fingerprinting to the public, patrol the City, write parking citations, assist in data entry and other clerical duties, provide vacation house checks to residents and assist with traffic control for special events and traffic collisions.

The Chino Police Mounted Posse is a program designed for those interested in horsemanship and serving their community. The Posse provides unique opportunities to be involved in public events and to support the work of the Chino Police Department.

The Chino Police Chaplains are a group of ministers dedicated to providing support to Department employees, their families, and to the Community. Pastors of all denominations are encouraged to become a part of this unique service.
