Counseling
As part of our commitment to improving the quality of family life and the safety of our neighborhoods, Chino Human Services provides counseling, prevention education, intervention programs, and referral services to the community.

The Family Counseling Program provides counseling services to youth, teens, adults, couples, and families seeking assistance in such areas as resolving conflicts, improving communication, parenting issues, and etc. Services are available at Chino Human Services for $10 to Chino residents and $30 for non-residents.
The Youth Counseling Program provides school-based counseling services to elementary school students experiencing family difficulties, low self-esteem, social adjustment problems, and/or behavioral difficulties. School site counseling is free to students who attend a school in the Chino Valley Unified School District.
The Teen Counseling Program provides school-based counseling services to middle school and high school students experiencing family difficulties, low self-esteem, social adjustment problems; and conflict resolution, anxiety, and/or behavioral difficulties. School site counseling is free to students who attend a school in the Chino Valley Unified School District.
The Referral Card Program is a collaborative program between Chino Human Services and the Chino Police Department to provide domestic violence intervention. Referrals are made by the Police Department at the time of a domestic disturbance call. The Referral Card Program was developed after the two departments within the City of Chino saw a need within the community and worked together to develop a program that would benefit the citizens of Chino.
